Un souci étrange de l'installeur Debian stable, y compris la dernière version, la 8.7.1 xfce : une absence totale de détection des disques durs d'un portable (hp stream x360 série 11) pourtant détectés par Gparted version 0.22 de juillet 2015 et par Linux Mint basée sur Ubuntu dernière version (18.1, de février 2017). C'est quand même sacrément ennuyeux
Comme il ne s'agit que de passer de la musique avec et que ce n'est pas pour moi, j'ai installé Mint, sans parvenir à comprendre.
J'ai cru au départ que ça venait d'une configuration des disques durs d'origine en RAID (que je n'ai jamais utilisé). Sous Windows 10, pré-installé sur ce portable (qui fonctionnait très mal avec), pour voir les volumes, il fallait en effet que je "peuple" les volumes.
Mais avec une live usb de Debian, si tout fonctionnait (BIOS mode legacy, secure Boot déactivé), impossible d'en voir plus, aucun RAID ou controleur de disque exotique de signalé. L'installeur ne me proposait pas d'autres disques que la clé usb de l'installeur.
Rien de particulier sur le net.
Un essai avec gparted live m'a permis de voir les disques, à condition de lancer gparted live en mode ram. J'ai donc recréé une nouvelle table GPT, formaté en ext4 en trois partitions.
Aucune avancée du côté de l'installeur Debian.
J'ai tenté Mint, et ça a marché direct (avec EFI).
Quelqu'un aurait une explication (pour l'amour de l'art, je vais laisser mint) ?
