Bonjour,

je poste ce message car je n'arrive pas régler mon problème sur mon nouveau laptop Lenovo ThinkBook 16 G7 IML
Je n'ai pas de microphone détecté/activé dans gnome.

Le matériel est récent et j'ai déjà dû régler quelques soucis de drivers (wifi/carte graphique/son), mais le microphone externe, je suis bloqué, plz help ;O
Je vais détailler le matériel et mes modifs, mais déjà un truc très bizarre, quand je branche un casque (micro jack ou usb), le microphone via le casque fonctionne.

Matériel : CPU intel ultra 5 125U
OS : debian 12 stable + quelque backport pour le matériel récent

Le driver est loadé (j'ai du son via les haut parleurs)
Cela ne s'est pas fait tout seul. Au début, j'avais rien du tout, parce que le paquet firmware-sof-signed ne contenait pas les drivers pour meteor lake.
J'ai tenté deux techniques qui produisent le même résultat.
1. récupérer les drivers depuis https://github.com/thesofproject/sof-bin/
2. Installer le paquet .deb depuis je sais plus ou (la version trixie est légèrement supérieure, mais comme le driver est loadé, cela doit pas être le souci)

Je suis un peu perdu entre alsa/soudwire/pipewire
et les modules sof-audio-pci-intel-mtl, snd_hda_codec_realtek et sof-hda-dsp

Le service alsa a du mal, mais je sais pas si c'est important :/

Bonjour,
j'ai l'impression que tuas fait les choses sans trop de logique, voire sans comprendre ce que tu modifiais.
Il faut d'abord trouver comment est connecté ton microphone au chip audio.
un lsusb devrait donner une piste.

Le microphone ne semble pas en usb. Mais pour moi, la carte son faisait tout. Peut être mon erreur. Mais je ne vois aucune info lié au microphone.

Je joins le screen de alsa mixer et le son sous gnome.
Je trouve pas cela très parlant...mais j'ai jamais aimé alsa mixer !

J'ai aussi démarré le PC sous windows, c'est juste précisé "intel smart sound pour microphones numériques" et oui il fonctionne sous windows...

Tu n'as que ça dans alsamixer ?
Je suppose que tu as fait un F6 pour voir si il n'y avait pas une autre carte de reconnue
Tu n'affiche que les sorties (F3), il faut afficher les entrées (F4)
Tu y trouveras probablement un 'input source" dont tu pourras changer la source (par ex "front mic")
