Oui, c'est ça, c'est le format de la fiche du casque ou de l'enceinte (mâle) qui rentre dans la prise (femelle) du PC
alors il y a bien deux prises jack,une pour la sortie audio et l'autre pour le micro,du moins c'est comme ça chez moi,mes enceintes sont branchées sur la sortie audio.Chez toi vérifie que tes enceintes sont bien sur la sortie audio et pas sur la prise micro,je sais c'est con mais il faut tout bien vérifier parce que y a pas de raison que ça marche pas.Es tu sûr que ta carte son fonctionne?que la sortie son dans pavucontrol,onglet lecture,soit bien sur "audio interne stéréo analogique""?

Ben oui, c'est bien par tout ça que j'ai commencé. Et tout ça vérifié, ça ne marche toujours pas... Quant à une défaillance de la carte son, cela me parait peu probable, dans la mesure où tout fonctionnait normalement sur Xub, avant Debian. Je ferai un essai avec une distro live, histoire de voir ce que ça donne.

et dans pavucontrol,onglet lecture ou périphérique de sortie,as tu bien l'option audio interne stéréo analogique dans le menu déroulant?C'est forcement un truc de ce genre qui n'est pas bien configuré,surtout si tu as du son sur un autre système.Le live cd c'est bien pour tester.

tout à l'air normal dans ta config, et pourtant pas de son ... Il n'y a rien dans les logs lorsque tu branches ton casque ?

tu as déja la sortie de dmesg (les derniéres lignes, lorsque tu as branché le casque)
regarde aussi /var/log/messages

LE /var/log/messages, il fait 3 kilomètres de long. Je sélectionne comment la partie intéressante ?

ce qui concerne l'audio aprés que tu es connecté ton casque, c'est à dire vers la fin.

dans les cas délicats, comme le tien en ce moment, il est toujours utile d'avoir sous la main une minicarte son usb,ces cartes son usb sont immédiatement reconnues et fonctionnent out of the box; environ 12 euros en grande surface ayant un petit rayon informatique.

Je t'assure que tout est normal dans pavucontrol. Il m'affiche en direct les changements selon que je branche ou débranche le casque, la barre horizontale continue de s'agiter quand le casque est branché, mais je n'entends rien, désespérément rien dans ce foutu casque...

pas trop le temps de creuser, mais je ne vois rien d'anormal.
Il faudrait que tu trouves le moyen de t'assurer que les sorties affectées au casque sont bien les bonnes (sortie de dmesg), et qu'il n'envoie pas le son sur une autre sortie.

Re salut,

histoire de relancer le sujet, toujours pas résolu, je viens de m'apercevoir, en faisant quelques essais que les bip système arrivaient bien dans le casque. Étonnant, je trouve... C'est le son qui sort des applications (Vlc, QuodLibet) qui ne sort pas.

Je ne sais plus si tu as regardé du coté de ton gestionnaire de fenetres et de bureau.
Il y a souvent une couche au dessus de pulseaudio (par exemple phonon pour KDE)
C'est cette couche qui oriente le son vers pulseaudio.

J'utilise Xfce comme bureau. Je ne sais pas s'il y a une couche au-dessus de pulseaudio, ni comment vérifier ce que tu m'indiques.

tu peux déja regarder dans le menu multimedia si tu as un mixer, ou volume manager
Pour XFCE, il te faut Gstreamer.
regarde ce que tu as d'installé, et d'installable, avec ce nom là

Il y a xfce4-mixer, qui me donne les mêmes info que alsamixer en console. Ça, je ne découvre pas... Rien d'autre.
